Cranberry-Crane

       Once upon a time . . . there was a little Christmas tree

standing all alone on the beach, near the sea.

Soon our four ducklings discovered the tree,

standing alone, there by the sea.

The Cookie-Mouse exclaimed "We have to feed it and help it grow"

So the ducklings brought formula, water, cookies and a Christmas ornament to show.

They taught the little tree everything they knew about the holidays

about stockings, Christmas corals. . .  and how to shine on Christmas eve -  in safe ways.

week 51

After all those hours of studying, the little tree passed it's TATs*_,

_{scoring a higher than most other Christmas trees.}

                   Later Mr. Beaver inspected and praised the little tree,

                           leaving the tree standing proudly on the beach, near the sea.

Next the ducklings and the Cookie-Mouse thought about decorating the tree;

with everyone getting excited, there by the sea.

They built paper dresses for the little tree,

checking what looked best, there near the sea.

They even baked ornaments for their friend by the sea,

adding decorations - sweet as can be.

Taking a vote on which ornaments it will be,

that's what we call democra-tree.

Feeling festive on the 4th Sunday of Advent,

Croc lights the candles, everyone feeling content.

The ducklings sang "Oh Tannenbaum", the traditional Christmas song,

even though they sang off-key, they knew, it can't be wrong.

With Christmas Eve approaching fast,

they built a reindeer runway at last.

To make sure Santa will see,

the beautiful Christmas tree by the sea.

Fully decorated with ornaments and a bow

the little Christmas tree surely started to glow.

With Santa Claus so very near,

we'd like to wish you a Merry Christmas

and a peaceful & happy New Year.
